Visual Storytelling
From the Andes Mountains to the ocean floor, from the Amazon rainforest to the Himalayas, I leverage my knowledge of visual saliency, storytelling, and science to produce pieces that inspire environmental and cultural conservation.
My work has been featured on Beautiful Destinations, Verge Magazine, the Japan National Tourism Organization, Borderless by SafetyWing, and others.
I work with brands to identify a central message, and deliver that message through emotionally-salient photography and writing.
Cognitive Systems
As a researcher from the University of British Columbia specializing in the human visual system, I integrate my knowledge of research methodologies, human-computer interaction, visual analytics, and best design practices to produce intuitive and fluid user experiences.Â
My past projects include visual search experiments, priming, event-related potentials, and traumatic brain injury. I am a strong believer in using empathy to minimize pain points during the design process.
In 2022, I accepted the Andrew Wade Memorial Award in Visual Analytics from the University of British Columbia.
